How We Connect with You

At Total Tech Repair, we use AnyDesk, a secure remote support tool, to connect to your computer. This allows us to help you as if we were sitting right there, while you still stay in full control.

Connecting with AnyDesk

  1. Download AnyDesk
    Visit anydesk.com/download and choose your operating system (Windows or Mac).

  2. Open AnyDesk
    Run the program (no installation required for Windows, though Mac users may need to approve security permissions).

  3. Share Your Address
    You’ll see a 9-digit “Your Address” number in the AnyDesk window. Give this to us over the phone or by text.

  4. Accept Our Request
    We’ll send a connection request. A prompt will appear on your screen — you must click Accept for us to begin.

  5. Stay in Control
    You’ll see everything we do. You can end the session at any time by closing AnyDesk.

How We Connect with You

You’re never connecting to a stranger overseas — you’re working directly with Austin at Total Tech Repair, the same person who services laptops and desktops locally.

We’re not a faceless hotline. You’ll see Austin (your local tech) fixing your issue live, and you can disconnect anytime.”

Safety & Privacy Section

We know remote support can feel risky — here’s how we keep it safe:

  • Customer Approval Required – We cannot connect without your one-time session code and your explicit approval.

  • You See Everything – Your screen is always visible to you while we work.

  • Disconnect Anytime – You can close AnyDesk at any point, instantly ending our access.

  • No Reconnection Without You – Once the session ends, we cannot reconnect without a brand-new code from you.

  • Trusted Software – AnyDesk is a globally trusted remote support application used by IT professionals worldwide.
